Questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser, so the images never leave your device. That makes it fine for ID cards, passports and documents.

Which image formats can I use?

JPG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone photos) and WebP, plus GIF, BMP and AVIF when your browser can read them. Photos taken sideways are turned the right way using their orientation tag.

Is the image quality reduced?

JPG photos go into the PDF unchanged, so there is no loss, and PNG stays lossless. HEIC, WebP and other formats are converted to high-quality JPG first.

How do I make the PDF smaller?

Create it here, then run it through Compress PDF: choose a level or a target size such as 2 MB.
