File Acture

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These terms apply when you download or use File Acture and when you buy a File Acture Pro license. By using the app, you agree to them.

The app

File Acture is a Mac app that processes PDFs, images and archives on your computer. We may update the app and change or add features over time.

Free version

The free version includes every tool, with 3 free runs on each Mac and up to 5 files in a run. Counting free runs requires an internet connection. We may change what the free version includes.

Pro license

A Pro license is a one-time purchase that removes the free version's limits. You may use one license on up to 3 Macs at the same time, for personal or business use.

Your license key is for you. Don't share, publish or resell it. We may deactivate a license that is refunded, charged back or shared.

Acceptable use

Don't try to get around the license check or the free-run limit, and don't use File Acture to break the law or someone else's rights. For example, only remove passwords from PDFs you are allowed to open.

Your files

Your files never leave your Mac, and File Acture always saves results as new files. Still, no software is perfect: keep backups of files that matter and check results before you rely on them.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, File Acture is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for lost data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
